Brick Masonry Restoration and Interior Finish Repair:
This scope involved comprehensive masonry rehabilitation, including face brick repair and selective replacement. A single wythe of perimeter brick was removed and toothed into the existing surrounding material to create a rectilinear area for precise integration of new masonry. Existing brick was cleaned and reused where feasible. Restoration included brick stitching and weaving, with isolated removal and replacement of damaged units, fully bedded in mortar. Wall sections requiring replacement were reconstructed with new backup systems to match existing construction, incorporating truss-type masonry reinforcement at every sixth course and doweling into stable substrate. Interior finishes were repaired and restored to match adjacent existing conditions.
