EXTERIOR RESTORATIVE WORK: a comprehensive scope of work was needed to bring the building into full FISP compliance. A full parapet rebuild in conjunction with a roof replacement also revealed systemic failure of the aging shelf angels that required a majority replacement on the street fronting facades. The location of primary concern for this was at the building’s corners where many of the existing angles did not extend fully to the corner and had shifted over time causing some bricks to only be supported on less than half their surface area.
EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION: MVN helped to coordinate and provide administration for the installation of new electrical equipment on the bulkhead.
